Once again this year, we had the pleasure of representing KUSTAN at the InKontakt careers fair in the Saalfeld/Rudolstadt district. Last weekend, pupils, teachers and parents had the opportunity to find out about a wide range of job profiles and possible career prospects in the Bad Blankenburg town hall. Over 200 exhibitors came together in the town hall to provide information about the company, manufacturing processes and training in their own company. Hundreds of schoolchildren took the opportunity at our stand to make a cell phone holder by thermoforming or to assemble the "KUSTANI" - a little man made of plastic fittings. Anyone who managed to do this in under two minutes was rewarded with a KUSTAN folding rule.
We already knew many of the pupils from last year, and the fact that they came back to our stand shows their interest in KUSTAN. We are now hoping for plenty of applications, whether for internships or apprenticeships in 2026. After completing the apprenticeship, there are excellent chances of being taken on.
We would like to thank all colleagues who actively contributed to the success of this trade fair appearance, be it through the organization, construction, stand support and many good ideas for next year.
