The exhaust air from most processes often requires the removal of solid and liquid pollutants. In the field of exhaust air technology, KUSTAN offers innovative and customized exhaust air and exhaust gas purification systems for a wide range of applications.
If the exhaust air contains pollutants that can no longer be separated by simple droplet separation, separation processes such as absorption or chemisorption must be used.
KUSTAN offers exhaust air wet scrubbers for these processes, which operate, for example, as packed columns with counter-current flow of exhaust air and scrubbing liquid. Our standard exhaust air scrubbers can be manufactured for cleaning exhaust air for volume flows of less than 1,000 m³/h to 90,000 m³/h. Special sizes are also possible and have already been successfully installed for our customers.
We also supply high-performance droplet separators for exhaust air purification with an exhaust air volume of between 500 m³/h and 50,000 m³/h. The KUSTAN droplet separatoris a baffle plate separator for horizontal inflow, which separates the liquid droplets according to the principle of inertia.
In industrial exhaust air systems, escaping air and exhaust gases can cause a constant and high noise level. This can be effectively reduced with KUSTAN baffleand duct silencers.
