We are inspected and recognized as a specialist company in accordance with the Water Resources Act (WHG) and approved for the following areas of activity:
- Tank production, installation, set-up,
- maintenance, installation of leak detectors, installation of overfill protection,
- installation of pipelines, drip pans and MSR equipment.
KUSTAN has stood for expertise in the processing of thermoplastics since 1977 and is active worldwide as a company in the field of plant engineering.
With qualified, interdisciplinary teams at the Gelsenkirchen and Rudolstadt sites, we offer you the entire range of services from planning to production and assembly.
Both KUSTAN sites are monitored by TÜV Rheinland Industrie Service GmbH.
As a manufacturer of thermoplastic flat-bottom tanks and collection systems with a volume of up to 50 m³, we have general building inspectorate approvals from the German Institute for Building Technology, DIBt Berlin.
Our sites are certified to ISO 9001:2015 in the areas of development and planning, production, assembly and maintenance of thermoplastic systems.
Chemical management
KUSTAN plans and installs complex piping systems made of PE, PP, PP-n, PVC-U, PVC-C, PVDF, ABS and GRP, including double-walled versions, especially for aggressive media such as acids and alkalis with a high hazard potential. This enables us to guarantee the safe transportation of liquid and gaseous media.
Stainless steel and electroplating technology
In the field of stainless steel pickling and electroplating equipment made of thermoplastics, we offer our customers, together with our partners, specific planning and development through to the manufacture of systems and special pipe fittings, containers and systems.
We use PE, PP, PP-n, PVDF, PVC, ABS, GRP and electrically conductive plastics.
Air
KUSTAN accepts its responsibility for people and the environment and, in constructive dialog with its customers, is already developing future-proof and profitable solutions for the demands of tomorrow. The exhaust air from most processes often requires the removal of solid and liquid pollutants. In the field of exhaust air technology, KUSTAN offers innovative and customized exhaust air and waste gas purification systems for a wide range of applications.

Individual production processes and the safe handling of aggressive chemicals are necessary for the production of a wide variety of battery types on the market, such as starter, portable, traction and special batteries. KUSTAN offers tried and tested systems and individual components in customized - and above all environmentally friendly - solutions for battery production processes. Plastics are the most suitable and preferred construction material.
