From September 15 to 17, 2026, the international lead battery industry gathered in Vienna for the European Lead Battery Conference (ELBC).
KUSTAN was represented by a four-member team and welcomed numerous customers, partners and industry experts at booth 92.
The focus was on personal interaction, current developments in battery production and innovative solutions for the challenges of tomorrow.
Automation and Combined Expertise
Under the motto “We Form the Future of Batteries,” KUSTAN presented its automated formation technologies for efficient and reliable battery production. Together with NOLZEN, our sister company specializing in heat treatment solutions, and ESEMA, we highlighted the importance of specialized expertise and close collaboration in developing future-ready solutions.
ESEMA: Disruptive Innovation Through Collaboration
Besides KUSTAN, the other four ESEMA member companies — CMWTEC, DIGATRON, MAC ENGINEERING and SORFIN YOSHIMURA — were represented at ELBC with their own exhibition stands and teams. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the strength of the alliance and strengthen relationships with customers and partners across the battery industry.
