The exhaust of most processes frequently requires the removal of solid and liquid pollutants. In the area of exhaust air technology, KUSTAN offers innovative and individualexhaust air and flue gas cleaning plants for all kinds of different use cases.
If the exhaust air is loaded with pollutants, which can no longer be removed by simple droplet separation, separation methods such as absorption or chemical sorption must be used.
For these methods, KUSTAN offers wet exhaust air scrubbers that operate, for example, as packed columns with backward feed of exhaust air and washing liquid. Our standard exhaust air scrubbers can be made for the cleaning of less than 1,000 m³/h up to 90,000 m³/h. Special sizes are also possible and have already been successfully installed on our customers’ premises.

We also supply high-performance droplet separators for exhaust air cleaning with an exhaust air flow rate between 500 m³/h and 50,000 m³/h. The KUSTAN droplet separator is a baffle separator for horizontal flow, which separates the liquid droplets using the inertia principle.
In industrial exhaust air systems, discharging air and exhaust gases can produce a continuous and high noise level. KUSTAN baffle and pipe silencers can reduce this effectively.
