Chemicals and chemical mixtures not included on the list are assessed with regard to the resistance of the storage tank materials to these substances. Appropriate statements are drawn up by the specialist departments of the semi-finished goods manufacturer.
A change in stored media during the life cycle of a storage tank always means a change in use of the vessel concerned. The physical and chemical properties of the new stored medium must be taken into account appropriately and the determined load values compared.
